My name is Johnny Barrera and I have been helping people achieve their fitness goals since 2007. I come from a back ground of playing baseball and I have always enjoyed being active. I ran cross country in high school and started lifting weights when I was 15. I was a little guy and was motivated to put on some weight and get stronger! After high school i continued lifting. At the age of 23 i realized that I had a passion for what I was doing and went on to get my certification. Since then I have helped hundreds of people lose weight and get in shape. I have also competed in a few body building competitions. I opened B-FIT in 2014 with the thought of offering personal training without the hassle of a gym membership and wanted a less intimidating atmosphere for those who didn't want to step foot into a gym. Amanda Brown

Hi!  My name is Amanda Brown!  Johnny is my little brother and I absolutely adore him.  I moved back to Tyler/Bullard in December 2014 and started working out at B-FIT.  Before that time I worked in kitchens for 10 years, usually as the lead Pastry Chef and Lead Cook.  Working in Kitchens requires long days and hours with your team on a daily basis and mostly 6-7 days a week.  Being a wife/mother I decided that I needed more time with my family and knew I needed to make some changes…both on the career side as well as the health side.  Johnny told me that I should get my PT certification and I started that journey in April 2015.  My goal at that time was to lose weight, but as I started to learn more about how spectacular our bodies are I became more interested in being athletic.  At this time I am currently down from 208 pounds in December 2014 to 155 pounds July 2016.  I now have my PT certification and have new goals to strive for.  Currently I hold the position of accountability coach and Personal trainer and will be working towards nutrition as I still love food….Love to learn about it and cook it, but now I am focused on how it affects our bodies and performance.  I have never been in such great shape in my life and I challenge anyone to take the same journey.
